I don’t talk much in ceramics. Mostly I listen. The boys love to talk about video games. All class long, video games this and computer games that. Occasionally they say something pretty funny, though. Yesterday they were talking about a particularly tasteless t-shirt with a message about the Virgin Mary. I was unimpressed with the joke, but their rehearsed responses to what 90% of Lubbockites would say to the t-shirt wearer was hilarious:
[Insert outraged, angry comment here]
“Yes sir, I believe in all the things I wear. [Pause] I see you believe in POLO.”
I thought it was funny, anyway.
