Dreams

I have had some really neat dreams in my time. I had one last night that I got a really bad grade on my organic chemistry exam, which is funny because I have had those dreams before and one came true. Exact score, except it was a good one not a bad one. I hope this one does not come true.

I used to have dreams about animals chasing me quite often. Tigers, normally, but a few times there were lions, and once there was a bear (how cliche!). My favorite was being pursued by a huge lion through a snowy forest: the colors were incredibly vivid and crisp, and at the end I fell into a crystal clear lake and was sinking. It was impossibly deep, this lake, and I remember looking up and seeing the lion appear in the water with a huge splash and start to sink after me, swimming determinedly. Everything around it was just black, except the light shining at the surface.

I also had a dream once (I think I may have blogged this before?) about being a new employee in some huge house. I was going to work in the kitchen or something, and the person hiring me told me to be careful around the monster in the walls. I could feel the monster looking at me, I could see its red eyes through holes that it looked through, but I had no idea
what it looked like, only that it hated me. It would follow me as I walked the hallways, and towards the end of the dream it got loose and chased me. Luckily I escaped through the front doors, and Evan was waiting for me. It was probably one of the creepiest dreams I've ever had.

I have thought that it would be really neat to write short stories about my dreams, or paint them maybe. They are all very visual, and so the images are all strong and I remember them well.

I had a dream about the guy in the picture once, also.
