The weirdest thing...

Last semester I was painting a clay relief in Design II and using an old sketchbook of mine to mix the paints on. I wasn't very fond of the sketches, and it was all I had. Anyway, I thought that I had thrown this sketchbook in the trash when I was done, but apparently I didn't. I know this because today, walking down a hallway in the art building, I glanced over at a door covered in art pictures, and there it was--one of my sketches! It was the weirdest thing, to glance over at all this cool art and see some ancient sketch I did right there in the middle! Someone had obviously found my book and claimed it. Anyway, it was a neat experience. I really doubt that anyone would have ever seen that sketch, or any of the other drawings, had I not left it out and forgotten about it. Now tons of people see it everyday. Kind of cool.

AWESOME! There is just something beautiful in the idea that something you did can exist without you thinking about it, yet other people are thinking about it.
