I wish, I Love, I wait,

I wish that I could think of a more worthy thing to write about than school. School tends to dominate a student's life, which is unfortunate. School is important, but it is not the ultimate important thing. I try to remind my self of this, but when I do the sound of it warps and it starts to sound dangerously like an excuse. So I didn't do so well on this or that test, it's not a big deal in the great scheme of things, right? All I can say is tread lightly here because it's not always the right answer...

Thanksgiving is coming and I am very glad, but apprehensive. Evan's surgery is the day before and he will have to stay in Lubbock. His mother is coming down, but I really wish he could be with his whole family. It just doesn't seem right. It is all for the best, though. His doctor is a character. He wears polkadotted bowties, loves football and says exactly what he thinks. He tells it like it is, basically. I like him, and I am glad he's taking care of my baby. He even took care of Evan's father when his knee was injured. He's very good.

I love the holidays, because I get to see all my family. Christmas will be the best, because my sisters will be here and there is nothing better than a full house. I think that when everyone comes home is one of the happiest times for me. It feels so good :) I can't wait.
